Ohm’s Law and current-voltage relationships. RLC circuits. Equivalent circuits (Thevenin-Norton-Millman-Rosen-Kennely). Superposition principle. Kirchhoff’s laws. Solution of circuits. Sinusoidal Steady State. Active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, higher harmonic components. Three phase circuits and connections. Single phase equivalent circuits. Solution of circuits using Laplace transforms. Instruments for the measurement of electric quantities.
